“Pujiang Innovation Forum —— 2018 International Science,Technology and Innovation Think Tank Fourm" was held in Shanghai

 “Pujiang Innovation Forum —— 2018 International Science,Technology and Innovation Think Tank Fourm" was held in Shanghai on June 22nd and 23rd, 2018. The seminar was hosted by the Shanghai Institute for Science of Science named “Science and Technology Innovation Center: Urban Agglomeration and Opportunities”. Fifteen speakers from domestic and foreign leading scientific and technological innovation think tanks delivered keynote speeches, and around 200 delegates from relevant institutions attended the meeting.
  
  Zhang Quan, Director of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and Hu Zhijian, Dean of the China Academy of Science and Technology Development Strategy attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. UNESCO project commissioner Yoslan Nur, Zhang Siping, deputy mayor and former member of the Standing Committee of Shenzhen Municipal Committee attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was hosted by Luo Dajin, the director of our institute.
  
  Experts from world-class think tanks such as the Development Research Center of the State Council, China Science and Technology Development Strategy Research Institute, Science and Technology Strategy Consulting Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Science and Technology Finance Promotion Association, Tongji University, East China Normal University, China and Globalization Think Tank, UNESCO, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development ,Silicon Valley Joint Investment, Springer Nature Group, Tel Aviv University, Moscow Innovation Bureau, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Solidarity Hong Kong Fund participated in the event. Ideas and thoughts collided around topics such as "Logic and Strategy of Collaborative Innovation in the Yangtze River Delta City Group" , “Practical Exploration of Collaborative Innovation in Urban Agglomeration” and “the Pattern and Method of Collaborative Innovation in Urban Agglomerations”. Topics such as the developmental trend of global science and technology innovation from different angles and dimensions, and urban agglomerations, the status and function issues in the global innovation network were also discussed during the event, where speakers have made suggestions for Shanghai's policy focus on how to construction of a world-class science and technology innovation centers and to promote the collaborative innovation of the Yangtze River Delta.
  
  The International Symposium on Science and Technology Innovation Think Tank has been successfully held for three sessions. It will continue to serve as a high-end dialogue platform for international science and technology innovation think tanks, bring together global wisdom in solving arising issues on innovation.
