On the morning of June 22, 2018, the “Pujiang Innovation Forum —— 2017 International Science,Technology and Innovation Think Tank Fourm" held a round table conference. The conference was co-sponsored by the Shanghai Institute for Science of Science and the Shanghai Innovation City Development Strategy Research Center. Experts and scholars from well-known think tanks at home and abroad and from the Yangtze River Delta gathered together to discussed and communicated in depth around the topic of “The Logic and Strategy of Cooperative Innovation in the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration”. Researcher Hu Zhijian, Dean of the China Science and Technology Development Strategy Research Institute, Researcher Wang Yuan, Chairman of the China Science and Technology Finance Promotion Association, and Researcher Li Wanjin, Research Director and Deputy Director of the Institute, attended the meeting. Tu Qiyu, chief Expert of Shanghai Innovation City Development Strategy Research Center presided over the meeting.

　　

　　The meeting invited Director Tan Shengyuan of the Yangtze River Delta Regional Cooperation Office to introduce the recent progress of the Yangtze River Delta integration and the next major considerations. Researcher Li Wan, deputy director of our institute, and experts in science and technology innovation think tanks in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui shared the practice and thinking from the front line; Dean Hu Zhijian of the China Science and Technology Development Strategy Institute and UNESCO experts gave a macro vision Suggestions; experts from Silicon Valley, Israel, Guangdong, Hong Kong and other places have discussed the regional innovation system from a horizontal perspective; Professor Wang Yuan, Chairman of the China Science and Technology Finance Promotion Association, Professor Du Debin, Economic Geography, East China Normal University, China Science and Technology Development Strategy Research Researcher Wang Shuhua, director of the Institute for Regional Development of the Institute, gave methodological recommendations based on different disciplines.
