  On the morning of August 10th, the 6th (20th) expert forum of 2018 was held in the 1015 Academic Lecture Hall of our institute. Professor Wang Hongguang from the China Academy of Science and Technology Development Strategy of the Ministry of Science and Technology was invited to give a special report on “Strategic Thinking on Technology Innovation and Prediction in the New Era”.   Wang Hongguang, Professor at China Academy of Science and Technology Development Strategy, Ministry of Science and Technology. Part-time professor, doctoral tutor at Tianjin University, China Agricultural University,. He successively served as Director and Deputy Director of the Department of Rural and Social Development of the Ministry of Science and Technology. From 2001 to 2010, he served as Director of the Biological Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology (the Bureau level). He has been a visiting scholar at six universities in the United States, Germany and other countries, and has conducted exchanges and cooperation in more than 30 countries or regions. He has published 19 academic works such as "China Bio-Economy" and published 104 academic papers. In 2000, “Biotechnology will lead a new scientific and technological revolution”, which was recognized by the United Nations, many governments and scientists. In 2005, the “Second Green Revolution” was promoted and adopted by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization and some governments.
