On the morning of August 26, 2025, a 15-member delegation from the short-term training program on "Disruptive Foresight and Disruption Management", led by Prutthipol Soisuwan, Board Member and Treasurer of the Association of Royal Thai Army War College (ARTAWC), visited the Shanghai Institute for Science of Science (SISS) for an exchange symposium. The meeting was attended by Zhu Xueyan, Research Fellow and Deputy Director of SISS, along with colleagues from the Research Department of Innovation Policy, Research Department of Industrial Innovation, Research Department of Science, Technology and Society, and the Science and Technology Development Research Center. The meeting was presided over by Wu Yingying, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Development Research Center.

　　During the meeting, delegation representative Pantip Kayee introduced their visit objectives and members. Deputy Director Zhu Xueyan extended a warm welcome on behalf of SISS, giving a systematic overview of the institute's development history and recent research endeavors. Zhuang Jun, Research Fellow and Director of the Research Department of Industrial Innovation, shared SISS’s experience and progress in technology foresight research, while Chang Jing, Research Fellow and Director of the Research Department of Innovation Policy, discussed methodologies and insights from recent innovation policy studies. Subsequently, both sides held in-depth discussions on topics including the application of technology foresight in specific fields, the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, data-driven decision-making research, and the dissemination of research outcomes.

　　The two sides expressed potential for future collaboration in areas including technology foresight and talent exchanges, expressing anticipation for concrete cooperation in specific fields.
