On the morning of October 24, 2025, a five-member delegation led by Louise Curtis, Senior VP of Life Sciences, Social Sciences and Economics, Elsevier, visited the Shanghai Institute for Science of Science (SISS) for an exchange meeting. Zhu Xueyan, Deputy Director of SISS, along with colleagues from the Research Department of Industrial Innovation, Research Department of Statistics Evaluation, Science and Technology Development Research Center, and Pujiang Innovation Forum Research Center, received the delegation. The meeting was chaired by Wu Yingying, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Development Research Center.

　　At the meeting, Deputy Director Zhu Xueyan extended a warm welcome to Elsevier on behalf of SISS and provided a systematic overview of its development history and recent scientific research progress. Louise Curtis reviewed the foundation of past collaboration between the two parties and comprehensively introduced Elsevier's business portfolio and its development in China. Jiang Chujie, Publisher for Technology Management and Innovation Studies, Elsevier, supplemented the discussion with insights into journal development in this field. Subsequently, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on enhancing international influence, deepening academic exchanges, and sharing scientific and technological information.
